Sam Biver, MPH

Senior Public Health Research Coordinator

Sam is a Health Program Counselor for the OSHR lab. He works one-on-one with participants conducting health coaching focused on weight loss for an obesity prevention study. Sam completed a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with an endorsement in Health Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2010. He taught high school health and physical education for 3 years in central Illinois. In 2016, he earned a Master of Public Health degree in Behavioral Science from Saint Louis University and became a certified ACSM Personal Trainer. Sam enjoys the opportunity to help individuals improve their quality of life through coaching and education.
