Biography

Robert Culverhouse, PhD, is a retired-active Associate Professor of Medicine of General Medical Sciences in the Department of Internal Medicine at Washington University. Dr. Culverhouse has a PhD in Mathematics and completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Statistical Genetics and Epidemiology. His research interests focus on developing methods for the analysis of correlations between genotype and phenotype data, with particular emphasis on methods to detect epistatic interactions. Recent research includes the problem of extending such methods to genome wide association studies.
