Richard Patrick Fair

Biography

Richard’s career spans over three decades of service with Washington University School of Medicine. He worked in the Departments of Cell Biology and Physiology and Pediatrics before joining the Department of Medicine in 2005. Richard came to Washington University from the Corporate Office of Famous Barr Department Stores, as a staff member in their Accounts Receivable Department.

Richard manages the day-to-day operations of the Division of General Medical Sciences, including but not limited to grants, contracts, funding and proposal submissions, payroll/personnel, purchasing/accounts payable, accounts receivable, student tuition reconciliation, financial planning and projecting.

Richard enjoys the challenges of managing the General Medical Sciences Division and looks forward to continuing to grow, learn and evolve with the changing environment of research.
