Commencement ’23 Highlight

Dr. Walsh (that has a nice ring to it!) received his PhD from the interdisciplinary Rehabilitation and Participation Science (RAPS) program within the Program in Occupational Therapy; his thesis addressed “Developing Tools for the Implementation and Evaluation of Participatory Worker Health Promotion Interventions.” GMS faculty member Ann Marie Dale served on Dr. Walsh’s PhD committee, as did faculty from the Brown School and the Occupational Therapy program. Dr. Walsh will start a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Southern California’s top-ranked Occupational Therapy Program; he will continue to study how the workplace can best promote and protect the health of workers.
