The Division of General Medical Sciences offers several educational opportunities:

Workforce Development Scholarship:

The Workforce Development Scholarship was created to advance the skills and multi-disciplinary training ofresearch staff who can contribute to the conduct and evaluation of research while encouraging a culture of professional development and life-long learning among employees at Washington University. Workforce Development Scholarships can be awarded to full-time or part-time research staff who have completed a bachelor’s degree and are not enrolled in another certificate or degree-seeking academic program. Unlike the employee tuition benefit program, there is no minimum number of months of Washington University employment required prior to receiving this scholarship. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis but we recommend applications be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the start of a course.

Recommended Application Deadlines:
  • Summer Semester Courses – May 1
  • Fall Semester Courses – August 1
  • Spring Semester Courses – December 15
